Grievance Redressal Policy

How to make a complaint to Gyanguru, what we do with it, and how long it takes.

1. Purpose

1.1 This Policy sets out how Gyanguru Consultancy LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 (LLPIN ACE-5076) handles complaints about the Website, Payments, refunds, Timefolk sessions in India, content, personal data and Consultancy Services. It is published under rule 4(4) of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and section 8(10) of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. Grievance Officer

2.1 We have appointed a Grievance Officer to receive and resolve complaints:

3. How to file a complaint

3.1 Email the Grievance Officer at support email, call phone number (Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 18:00 IST), or write to the registered office.

3.2 Please include:

  1. your name, email address and phone number;
  2. your invoice number, request details or engagement name, if any;
  3. a clear description of the complaint and the dates involved;
  4. what you would like us to do; and
  5. any screenshots, receipts or documents that support your complaint.

4. Timelines

4.1 We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and give you a reference number.

4.2 We resolve every complaint within one month of receipt, and tell you the outcome and reasons in writing.

4.3 If we need more information from you, the timeline is paused until we receive it.

5. Content and takedown complaints

5.1 Complaints about content shared on or through Timefolk in India can be sent to the Grievance Officer. We act on them within the timelines in rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

5.2 Where a complaint is made by an individual, or a person on their behalf, about content that exposes their private area, shows them in full or partial nudity or in a sexual act, or impersonates them in an artificially morphed image, we take all reasonable measures to remove or disable access to it within 24 hours of receiving the complaint.

5.3 Orders from courts or authorised Government agencies are acted on within the time they specify or the time required by law.

6. Escalation

6.1 If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may:

  1. contact the National Consumer Helpline on 1915 or at consumerhelpline.gov.in;
  2. file a complaint before the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission with jurisdiction under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including through the e-Daakhil portal;
  3. for personal data complaints, approach the Data Protection Board of India; or
  4. follow the dispute resolution process in our Terms and Conditions.

7. Good faith

7.1 Every complaint is handled confidentially and fairly. We do not penalise anyone for making a genuine complaint. We may decline complaints that are frivolous, abusive or made in bad faith, and will say why.
